Tarek Mooro
CEO and Managing Partner
Tarek Mooro is CEO and a Managing Partner at Heptagon Capital, having co-founded the firm in July 2005. Tarek began his finance career in 1984. Prior to founding Heptagon, Tarek was Managing Director at Morgan Stanley in London and Head of the Middle East and Turkey Group at their Private Wealth Management Division for his last four years at the firm. He was also a member of the Division’s Global Operating Committee as well as its European Senior Management and New Alternative Product Committees. Tarek held senior positions within Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Division when he joined Bank Morgan Stanley AG in Zurich in 1993 to set up its Middle East business, and as member of a two-person team that established the Geneva Branch in 1994.Tarek’s previous experience also includes corporate credit at the Egyptian American Bank (Cairo), commodity futures and securities trading at Prudential-Bache Securities (New York) and corporate finance and emerging markets debt trading at Citigroup (London and Cairo). He has a BA in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.

Fredrik Plyhr
Managing Partner
Fredrik Plyhr is a Managing Partner at Heptagon Capital, having co-founded the firm in July 2005. Fredrik began his finance career in 1993. Prior to founding Heptagon, Fredrik spent 13 years at Morgan Stanley in London; latterly as Head of Scandinavia in the Private Wealth Management division, whilst also managing discretionary and advisory portfolios for clients. Prior to that, Fredrik was at the M&A and Corporate Finance departments in the Investment Banking division, also with Morgan Stanley. Fredrik has a MSc degree in Economics and Business from the Stockholm School of Economics and participated in the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, MBA International Exchange Programme.

Eran Ben-Zour
Managing Partner
Eran Ben-Zour is a Managing Partner at Heptagon Capital, having co-founded the firm in July 2005. Eran began his finance career in 1993. Prior to founding Heptagon, he was an Executive Director with Morgan Stanley in London, where he managed $250m in fixed income and equity portfolios and advised clients on $1.2bn of assets. Eran’s previous investment management experience was gained at Oppenheimer and Co, Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley. Eran has a BA in Economics and Philosophy from the Tel Aviv University, with Magna Cum Laude, and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago, where he graduated on the Dean’s List.

Greg Morris
Managing Director and Head of Sales
Greg is a Managing Director at Heptagon Capital & heads up the Sales team, having joined in August 2023. Prior to joining Heptagon, he was the Head of UK Institutional Business Development & Sales at abrdn, & before that, their Global Head of Alternative Investments Distribution having relocated with his family from Australia late in 2020. During his time in Australia, he held senior leadership roles at National Australia Bank including Head of Global Investment Desk for Business & Private Bank, Director of Global Institutional Sales at NAB Asset Management, with his final role being the Acting Executive General Manager for NAB Private Bank, the largest private bank in Australasia. Greg has a BA (Hons) in Finance from Ulster University & is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) as well as a Chartered Member of CISI. He has completed the Oxford Fintech programme at Saïd Business School, as well as the Investment Management Certificate & Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.

Thomas Hoersman
Partner - Denmark, Israel, Latin America
Thomas Hoersman is a Partner at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in September 2005. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in Denmark, Israel, Latin America, North America Offshore and Asia. Thomas began his finance career in 1998. Prior to joining Heptagon, he spent seven years with Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in their Miami and New York offices, covering large family offices and institutions in South America, Israel and Scandinavia. In 2001, Thomas was appointed head of the Client Advisory Group at CSFB London. Previously, Thomas was Commercial Director and on the board of Aarhus Inc. responsible for sales, trading and logistics in North and South America. Thomas has a BA in Administration and Export from Aarhus School of Economics and an MBA from Columbia Business School (NY) as well as a degree in International Affairs from Aarhus School of Business.

Christoffer Fallenius
Partner - Nordics excl. Denmark
Christoffer Fallenius is a Partner at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in February 2006. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in the Nordics (excl. Denmark). Christoffer began his finance career in 2001. Prior to joining Heptagon, he spent five years at Morgan Stanley in London; firstly in Private Wealth Management catering to Scandinavian clients, and later as a Vice President in the Institutional Equity division covering large Scandinavian institutions. Christoffer has a BSc in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and a MSc in Economics from Lund University.

Warwick Ryan
Partner - UK and South Africa
Warwick Ryan is a Partner at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in February 2006. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in the UK as well as sub-Sahara Africa, from where his family hails. Warwick began his finance career in 1995. Prior to joining Heptagon, he spent just over a decade in the Private Wealth Management department at Morgan Stanley. From 1999 he co-led an investment advisory team and managed asset allocation for a number of relationships in the Middle East. In 2002, Warwick accepted a further role created to help develop the Morgan Stanley business in Europe, focusing primarily on asset allocation, manager selection and risk analysis for UK-based institutions, families and foundations. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Warwick was two years at Capel Cure Myers, helping a government entity with the optimal construction of their balanced portfolio, following short spells in the fixed income divisions of UBS and Salomon Brothers. Warwick has a BA in Classics and History from Durham University and has attained both UK and US regulatory exams including a Securities Institute Diploma on 'Private Client Investment Advice and Management'.

Natalia Greslikova
Europe (DACH & NL)
Natalia Greslikova is part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in October 2010. Her responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Natalia began her finance career in 1996. Prior to joining Heptagon, Natalia spent six years as a Managing Director of Institutional Sales at Gottex Fund Management, where she was responsible for covering European clients. Previously, Natalia was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities division, marketing strategic products and solutions to institutional clients in Germany, Austria, Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Natalia spent four years at Credit Suisse Financial Products specialising in asset and liability derivatives sales to institutional investors, having also been on the emerging markets desk of the Fixed Income division of Merrill Lynch. Natalia has a BA in Economics from Harvard University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Registered with the National Bank of Slovakia as a tied agent of Heptagon Capital Limited.

Naz Hedayat
Middle East
Naz Hedayat is a Managing Director at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in August 2011. Her responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in the Middle East and the Gulf Cooperation Council. Naz began her finance career in 2001. Prior to joining Heptagon, Naz worked at Emirates NBD covering ultra-high net worth clients from both a wealth management and corporate/trade finance perspective. Her previous roles include Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in London from 2001-2008 within the Investment Management division as part of the Institutional Wealth Management team. Her focus was the alternative investment space, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate and structuring exclusive co-investments alongside the Goldman Sachs Proprietary Trading desk. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Naz was at Merrill Lynch Private Banking in New York where she worked on the international desk. Naz has a BA with a double major in Economics and English Literature and a minor in Business Management from McGill University.

João Aranha Martins
Iberia and Latin America
Joao Aranha Martins is part of the Institutional Sales team, having joined in September 2008. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in Southern Europe and Latin America. Joao began his finance career in 2006. Prior to joining Heptagon, Joao spent two years in the Asset Management division of Bear Stearns International in London, servicing corporations, financial institutions and family offices with a focus on hedge fund and equity derivative investments. Before joining Bear Stearns, João spent three years in the Business Development department of Lisbon-based Puravida. Joao has a BA from the New York Institute of Technology and the Business Communications Institute (Lisbon). He also has an MBA from the School of Economics and Management, part of the Catholic University of Lisbon. Registered with the Portuguese Securities Market Commission ("CMVM") as a tied agent of Heptagon Capital Limited

Dudy Yakar
Israel
Dudy Yakar is a Managing Director at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined February 2012. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to Israeli institutional investors and large family offices. Dudy began his finance career in 1993. Prior to joining Heptagon, Dudy spent four years as a Vice President in the Debt Capital Markets division of Citi, leading the Debt Capital Markets activity in Israel. Prior to Citi, Dudy was the CIO of KAGAM, a $4bn pension fund. He also spent ten years with the Investec group in various Capital Markets-related roles with a focus on underwriting activity (equity and debt). Dudy has a BA in Economics and an MBA from the Tel-Aviv University.

Michael Daly
UK & Ireland
Michael Daly is a Managing Director at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in June 2016. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in the UK and Ireland. Michael began his finance career in 2008. Prior to joining Heptagon, Michael worked at AllianceBernstein in London, where he had responsibility covering both sales and client servicing for some of the firm’s largest insurance and pension clients. Before joining AllianceBernstein, Michael also held positions at both State Street Alternative Investment Solutions and Citi in Dublin. Michael has a BSc from University College Dublin and a Master’s in Business Management MiM from the University College Dublin – Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Guillaume Amouroux
French Speaking Europe
Guillaume Amouroux is part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in July 2019. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in France and the French-speaking regions. Guillaume began his finance career in 2010. Prior to joining Heptagon, Guillaume held a position at Lyxor Asset Management in Institutional Sales covering asset managers, private banks and institutional investors in France and French-speaking Switzerland. Prior to this, Guillaume was a cross-asset derivatives Sales Analyst for Société Générale and Leonteq in Switzerland and HSBC in France, servicing a broad range of professional investors. Guillaume has a MSc in Management from EM Lyon Business School. Registered with the Autorité des Marchés Financiers ("AMF") as a tied agent of Heptagon Capital Limited.

Itay Mizrahi
Israel
Itay Mizrahi is a Vice President at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in December 2021. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to Israeli institutional investors. Itay began his finance career in 2014. Prior to joining Heptagon, Itay filled an institutional sales role at Migdal Capital Markets for more than 5 years. Itay has a BA in Economics and underwent several Harvard Business School Online Programs.

David Bloch
Denmark and Norway
David Bloch is a Vice President at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in April 2016. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in Scandinavia and Asia. David began his finance career in 2012. Prior to joining Heptagon, David worked at a consultancy firm helping family offices identify investment opportunities in third-party fund managers. Before this he worked at a family office based in Zurich. David has a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Southern Denmark and a MSc in Banking and Finance from Queen Mary University, London.

Jakob Barrott
UK and Ireland
Jakob is a Senior Associate at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in August 2019. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in the UK. Jakob began his finance career in 2017. Prior to joining Heptagon, he held positions at Brown Brothers Harriman within Investor Services and Fidelity International. Jakob has a BA (Hons) in Management with Industrial Placement from Exeter University and holds the CFA UK’s Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

Michael Eriksson
Nordics excl. Denmark
Michael Eriksson is a Vice President at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in September 2023. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in the Nordics (excl. Denmark). Prior to joining Heptagon, he was Head of Sales at the wealth management firm Lancelot Asset Management, and before that, responsible for institutional and wealth management sales at Mercer Sweden. Michael started his finance career in 2009 at boutique equity manager Didner & Gerge Fonder as risk manager, before starting the sales and distribution department at the same company. Michael studied Master of Science in Economics, Russian and Eurasian studies at Uppsala University.
Tabea-Sophie Kuester
Europe (DACH & NL)
Tabea-Sophie Kuester is a Vice President at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in April 2024. Her responsibilities include supporting the marketing of the firm’s product offering to clients in the DACH region. Tabea began her finance career in 2014. Prior to joining Heptagon, Tabea spent 6 years at Goldman Sachs, London in the Asset and Wealth Management division as part of the European Shareholder Services Group covering institutional clients and corporates across EMEA from a client relationship management perspective. Other previous experiences include EY where Tabea was part of the Transaction Advisory Solutions Team with a focus on the insurance sector conducting buy side financial due diligences for corporate and private equity clients. Tabea has a BSc in Economics, from the Private University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

Ammani Zafar
Middle East
Ammani Zafar is Vice President at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in April 2025. His responsibilities include marketing the firm’s product offering to clients in the Middle East and the Gulf Cooperation Council. Ammani began his finance career in 2014. Prior to joining Heptagon, Ammani worked for three years at a placement agent dedicated to the GCC, covering institutional and family office clients. His focus was on alternative investments, including private equity, venture capital, private credit, real estate, infrastructure and co-investments. His previous roles between 2014 to 2022 include working for two UK-based venture capital managers, within capital raising roles from private wealth channels across the UK. Ammani has a BA (Hons) in Politics from Newcastle University.

Guy Blandford-Newson
Senior Associate
Guy is an Senior Associate at Heptagon Capital and part of the Sales Support Team, having joined in August 2020. His responsibilities include client service, performance analysis and completing client requests for proposals while supporting the Sales Team in raising capital for the firm’s product offering. Guy began his finance career in 2020. Prior to joining Heptagon, he completed various internships at Investec Asset Management and Polar Capital. Guy has a MA in Finance and Business from the University of Edinburgh.

Zheer Molod
Middle East
Zheer Molod is an Senior Associate at Heptagon Capital and part of the Institutional Sales Team, having joined in April 2021. His responsibilities include helping to raise capital for the firm’s product offering to clients in the Middle East. Zheer began his finance career in 2020. Prior to joining Heptagon, he was at Rathbones working within RAM and also completed an internship at Arabesque Asset Management. Zheer has a BSc in Economics from Queen Mary, University of London.

Arnaud Gandon
Partner & Chief Investment Officer
Arnaud Gandon is a partner and the Chief Investment Officer at Heptagon Capital, having joined in August 2010. Arnaud's duties include leading the firm’s asset allocation and security selection process, chairing the Investment Committee, and managing multi-asset discretionary portfolios. He also manages a team of investment professionals including a senior equity UCITS portfolio manager. Arnaud began his finance career in 1999. Prior to joining Heptagon, Arnaud was Head of Global Equity for UBP, managing institutional Global Equity mandates. Whilst at UBP, from 2003 he was a senior Portfolio Manager in charge of all London discretionary managed accounts and was responsible for several successful product launches. Previously, Arnaud was an Associate Director at Gerrard Ltd., responsible for European Manager Selection, performing detailed due diligence on both Fixed Income, Equity and Long-Short strategy funds. He managed a multi-asset advisory portfolio for Credit Agricole Indosuez private bank in London and worked as an advisory trader for Credit Commercial de France/HSBC. Arnaud has a MA in Finance from the Ecole Supérieure des Techniques de Gestion/ESC Group (Paris) and completed an advanced corporate finance module at the London Business School.

Alexander Gunz
Fund Manager
Alexander Gunz is a Fund Manager at Heptagon Capital, having joined in January 2011. His primary responsibility is managing the Heptagon Future Trends strategy. Along with regular thematic articles, Alex also produces the Future Trends blog and writes Heptagon’s monthly View From The Top macro commentary. Alex started his finance career in 1997. Prior to joining Heptagon, he held senior roles at J.P. Morgan and Friedman Billings and Ramsey, after earlier positions at Hoare Govett and Credit Suisse, where he became a top-ranked analyst. Alex has a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Worcester College, University of Oxford and a Master’s in English Literature from Queen Mary College, University of London. Alex also has an Honours Diploma in Wine and is a published novelist.

Daniel Too
Director
Daniel Too is a Director at Heptagon Capital and part of the Investment Team, having joined in January 2008. His responsibilities include supporting Heptagon across its divisions in trade support, treasury, analysis and operations. Daniel started his finance career in 2006. Prior to joining Heptagon, he held front office support positions at Citi’s convertibles desk and American Express’ FX International Payments. Daniel has a MSc in Theoretical Physics from University College London.

Graham Wilkins
Junior Portfolio Manager
Graham Wilkins is a Junior Portfolio Manager at Heptagon Capital and part of the Investment Team, having joined in April 2007. His responsibilities include the day-to-day management of Heptagon’s private wealth discretionary program, portfolio and risk analysis, client reporting, manager research and trading. Graham began his finance career in 2007 at Heptagon. He has a BA in Geography from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne University.

Jamie Collier
Associate
Jamie Collier is an Associate at Heptagon Capital and part of the Investment Team, having joined in June 2021. His responsibilities include investment research, analysis and trade support for the Heptagon Future Trends strategy and Heptagon’s private wealth discretionary program. Prior to joining Heptagon, Jamie completed an internship at LGT Vestra. He has a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Robert Rosenberg
Partner and Chief Operating Officer
Robert Rosenberg is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer at Heptagon Capital, having joined in February 2009. He is responsible for all non-investment functions including finance, operations, IT, legal and compliance in addition to the global distribution of our investment products and maintaining relationships with the firm’s business partners. Robert is also a Board member on the firm's corporate entities and investment funds. Robert began his finance career in 1989. Prior to joining Heptagon, Robert was a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at a London-based hedge fund, which he helped launch. He has held senior level positions at top-tier investment banks managing global and regional teams covering client service, financial control and operations. Robert has a BS in Finance and a BA in Economics from Rutgers University. He earned his CFA in 1998 and received his MBA in 1992.
Darryl Vine
Managing Director – Head of Compliance
Darryl Vine is a Managing Director and Head of Compliance at Heptagon Capital, having joined in November 2005. His responsibilities include ensuring that Heptagon meets all its compliance, regulatory, corporate governance, legal and risk management obligations, as well as overseeing the accounting function. Darryl is a Board member on several of the firm’s corporate entities. Darryl began his finance career in 1995. Prior to joining Heptagon, Darryl was head of operations and compliance for a UK financial services company. On joining Heptagon, he was initially responsible for ensuring that all UK regulatory authorisation and operational procedures were in place. He then went on to support and deputise for the Chief Operating Officer on all areas in respect to compliance, finance, legal, HR and IT. In 2013, Darryl relocated to set-up and manage the Malta Investment Manager. Darryl is an ACAMS Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.

Marldon Smalling
Chief Technology Officer
Marldon Smalling is the Chief Technology Officer at Heptagon Capital, having joined in May 2016. In this role, he oversees the IT operations and cybersecurity across the firm’s four offices. Marldon is instrumental in identifying and implementing innovative technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency within the business. Marldon began his finance career in 2016. Before joining Heptagon, he gained extensive experience working at various organizations, including a prominent managed services firm where he provided IT support to government institutes. Marldon holds a BSc in Information Technology from Goldsmiths University of London.

Rebecca Simmons
Director
Rebecca Simmons is a Director at Heptagon Capital, having joined in January 2012. She works closely with Heptagon’s external partners and sub-investment managers, and the global sales team to ensure seamless, transparent communication for investors. Her role is instrumental in aligning internal insights with client needs, helping investors stay informed and updated. As a primary point of contact for Heptagon’s managers across both liquid and illiquid strategies, Rebecca maintains strong, proactive relationships, produces reports on pipeline developments, and oversees roadshow planning and coordination to support investor outreach and engagement. She began her finance career in 2012. Prior to joining Heptagon, she completed an internship at a boutique investment bank in Singapore. She holds a BSc in Economic History with Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Melissa Zuanella
Director
Melissa is a Director at Heptagon Capital and part of the Business Support Team, having joined in March 2006. Her responsibilities include supporting the firm’s Sales Team with client queries, liaising with external managers and financial reporting. Melissa began her finance career in 2001. Prior to joining Heptagon, Melissa worked for the Private Wealth Management division of Morgan Stanley where she provided operational support and client maintenance to UK and Scandinavian clients. Melissa also spent two years working in the Private Banking division of American Express covering clients from the Sub-Continent. Melissa has a BA in German and Management Studies from Leeds University.

Andrew Zarb
Head of Fund Operations
Andrew is a Vice President and Head of Fund Operations at Heptagon Capital, having joined in July 2014. His responsibilities include overseeing the Heptagon UCITS Fund platform operations team, global distribution of the platform, working with the firm’s business partners, as well as supporting the Sales Team in raising capital for the firm’s product offering. Andrew began his finance career in 2014 at Heptagon. Andrew has a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta.

Rachel Neill
Head of Sustainability
Rachel Neill is the Head of Sustainability at Heptagon Capital, having joined in August 2023. She is responsible for delivering Heptagon’s ESG strategy and firm-wide sustainability initiatives. In addition, she works with the Sales team, clients and business partners to understand and address ESG-related investment requirements and questions. Prior to joining Heptagon, Rachel has held roles such as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Connected Asset Management and Head of Sustainable Investment at the fintech Smart Pension. Rachel has a BComm Honors in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of Cape Town and earned her CFA Charter in 2019.

Gabriela Strassberg
Vice President
Gabriela Strassberg is a Vice President at Heptagon Capital and part of the Business Support Team, having joined in May 2011. Her responsibilities include supporting the Heptagon UCITS Funds, primarily across the operational requirements of the Heptagon UCITS platform, as well as supporting the team with their business operations and managing the office duties. Gabriela began her finance career in 1997. Alongside her role at Heptagon Capital, her and her partner manage their own accounting firm, Strassberg SPRL, in Brussels. Gabriela has a PHD in Mathematics from the University of Buenos Aires.

Johanna Claesson
Vice President
Johanna Claesson is a Vice President at Heptagon Capital and part of the Business Support Team, having joined in August 2018. Her responsibilities include supporting the team in Sweden with their business operations and managing the office duties. Johanna began her finance career in 2005. Prior to joining Heptagon, she worked as a Fixed Income Sales Specialist in London for BNP Paribas and Royal Bank of Scotland covering Financial Institutions in the Nordic region on flow credit products. Johanna has a BSc in Business Studies with a major in Finance from Cass Business School, City University in London. She also has a degree in Journalism from Poppius journalistskola in Stockholm along with an Advanced Certificate in Marketing from CAM -Foundation.

Clementina Baena
Vice President
Clementina Baena is a Vice President at Heptagon Capital and part of the Operations Team, having joined in August 2016. Her responsibilities include supporting the Heptagon UCITS Funds, primarily across the operational, administrative and regulatory requirements of the Heptagon UCITS platform, as well as supporting the Sales Team in raising capital for the firm’s product offering. Clementina began her finance career in 2015. Prior to joining Heptagon, she worked at Abengoa in Spain as an intern in the Treasury & Finance department. Clementina has a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta.

Francesca Pace Gouder
Vice President
Francesca Pace Gouder is a Vice President at Heptagon Capital and part of the Sales Support and Marketing Team, having joined in October 2015. Her responsibilities include client servicing, CRM, performance analysis and client reporting while supporting the Sales Team in raising capital for the firm’s product offering. Francesca began her finance career in 2015. Prior to joining Heptagon, she worked at Apex Fund Services as a fund accountant. Francesca has a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta.

Alisa Mulic
Senior Associate
Alisa Mulic is a Senior Associate at Heptagon Capital and part of the Fund Operations Team, having joined in September 2017. Her responsibilities include portfolio administration, fund accounting and reconciliations for Heptagon's UCITS Fund platform, as well as supporting the Sales Team in raising capital for the firm’s product offering. Alisa began her finance career in 2017. Prior to joining Heptagon, she interned at FCS Asset Management, working with the portfolio management team. Alisa has a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta.

Julia Gauci
Senior Associate
Julia Gauci is a Senior Associate at Heptagon Capital and part of the Fund Operations Team, having joined in October 2018. Her responsibilities include regulatory reporting, portfolio administration, fund accounting and reconciliations for Heptagon's UCITS Fund platform, as well as supporting the Sales Team in raising capital for the firm’s product offering. Julia began her finance career in 2015. Prior to joining Heptagon, she worked at Apex Fund Services as a Senior Fund Accountant. Julia has a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta.

Loucas Louca
Senior Associate
Loucas Louca is an Senior Associate at Heptagon and part of the Fund Operations Team, having joined in January 2022. His responsibilities include portfolio administration, fund accounting and reconciliations, maintaining fund budgets and expenses and liaising with fund service providers. In addition to that his responsibilities include supporting the Sales Team in raising capital for the firm’s product offering. Loucas began his finance career in 2015. Prior to joining Heptagon, he worked as an auditor at PwC Malta before moving to work as an assistant manager at the funds division of Praxis IFM. Loucas has a BA Hons in Accounting and Finance from Newcastle University and he is a qualified chartered accountant after completing the ACA with ICAEW.

Martina Georgieva
Associate
Martina Georgieva is an Associate at Heptagon Capital and part of the Sales Support and Marketing Team, having joined in November 2021. Her responsibilities include assisting with Heptagon's marketing materials and supporting firm-wide marketing initiatives. Martina began her finance career in June 2019. Prior to Heptagon Capital, she worked at Lloyds Banking Group in the retail sector. Martina has a BSc in Marketing from University of Essex.
Matteo Catanzaro
Associate
Matteo is an Associate at Heptagon Capital and part of the Fund Operations Team, having joined in December 2021. His responsibilities include regulatory reporting, portfolio administration, fund accounting and reconciliations for Heptagon's UCITS Fund platform, as well as supporting the Sales Team in raising capital for the firm’s product offering. Matteo began his finance career in 2018. Prior to joining Heptagon, he worked at Deloitte Malta within the Audit and Assurance Department.
Max Norton-Steele
Analyst
Max Norton-Steele is an Analyst at Heptagon Capital, having joined in February 2025. His responsibilities include maximizing the value of the CRM system, creating reports for internal partners and external managers, assisting with the management of client roadshows, engaging with Heptagon’s UCITS fund managers and private market business partners, and conducting market research on financial market trends and investor demands. Max began his finance career in 2025. Prior to joining Heptagon, he completed a project at an institutional bank based in Germany. Max has a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Management from the University of Essex.
Mathias Bartolo
Analyst
Mathias is a Fund Administrator at Heptagon Capital and a member of the Fund Operations Team, having joined in March 2025. His role encompasses fund administration, data management, and distribution for Heptagon’s UCITS Fund Platform. Prior to joining Heptagon, Mathias worked at the Corinthia Palace, as a Finance Executive.

Benedict Santry
Analyst
Benedict Santry is an Analyst at Heptagon Capital as part of the Sales Support Team, having joined in March 2025. His main responsibilities include client and investor service, completing sales requests and supporting the Sales Team in raising capital for Heptagon’s fund platform. Benedict interned at Schroders before working for a boutique investment bank called Gneiss Energy. Benedict has an MA in International Relations from the University of St Andrews.

Sam Hoyes
Support Analyst
Sam Hoyes is a Placement Year Analyst and member of the Sales Support Team. His responsibilities include performance analysis, monthly reporting to clients, supporting sales team members with requests for information and completing client request for proposals. Prior to joining Heptagon, he completed an internship role at FPP Asset Management. Sam has completed the first two years of his BSc Economics degree at the University of Exeter and will return to complete this once his year with Heptagon is complete.
Gabe Pretty
Support Analyst
Gabriel Pretty is a Placement Year Analyst and member of the Sales Support Team at Heptagon Capital. His responsibilities include client service, performance analysis, monthly reporting to clients, and completing client requests for proposals while supporting the Sales Team in raising capital for the firm’s product offering. Prior to joining Heptagon, Gabriel completed internships at HSBC Global Asset Management and Kite Lake Capital, a hedge fund. Gabe has completed the first two years of a BSc in Economics and Finance at the University of Exeter and will return to complete his degree following his year at Heptagon.

Elizabeth Bond
Office Manager
Elizabeth Bond is the Office Manager at Heptagon Capital, having joined in April 2020. Her responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the firm, including controlling correspondence, operational support and meeting coordination. Elizabeth began her finance career in 2015. Prior to joining Heptagon, Elizabeth worked in property finance for SPF Private Clients as a team assistant. Elizabeth has a BA in English Literature and Language from Kings College London.
